There are many persons like me here who are not graduated from school for a long time, may be just one or two years.

One lunch time, a yong man tell me that his major is legal but now he is an international trade man now.  and he feels not very happy.

Is he meet the Mr. Wrong? Because what he do is no business with his major in university.

I am sure you are familiar with Singapore. This small country is a economically wonder of Asia despite it size.

It is doing so well because it is well manage by a strong team of leaders. But not many know the critiries of selection for this political team leader.

Our former Prime Minister, Mr Lee K Y mentioned more then once about his critiries for selection and 1 of them is education.

Strangely, not many of the political leader in Singapore major in Politics. In fact, most of the top leaders are either in Engineering or Law. Why? Mr Lee once say that is because Engeering has a mind set that is different from many other. So is the mind set of the lawyer etc...

My point here is that, we recieved education but to many it will not be relevant to our future career. Education main aim is to stimulate your mind and create someone resourceful in it own field and this field should expand with more trained stimulation.

Some of the richest person in the world do not recieved top education maybe due to circumstances bryond their control or they have already have their mind-set developed to start a career.

All profession needs some professional, but not all professional need a profession. They may excel in another field. 

I don't think major is important when you choose job.My major is literature but now i am also international trader,and i love my job,because when i do well in it i can get so much fun with adventure, it is romantic as well as good novels.

So i feel literature is related to business too.Maybe between every two  things there is  some connection you can find.

It is his own problem.Since his major is legal,since he is unhappy in the present job.Why did he choose it,why didnot he stick to his ideal.If he says it is reality,it is easier to find job in foreign trade,then do it with struggle.

If his conditions allow,try the legal job first,when it is really hard to get ,then the second job for life is ok.Because me,as a foreign sales,I like it and also hate it.Yet the enjoyment is most.I like the strange feelings,chatting with unknown people in unknown field.Guy,learn to enjoy the present.

Well, you posted the topic again. I supposed you have the question to choose your Mr Right again. Haha, but it  isn't!

The job of many people is not their major in the university, like me. But there should be a link between them. I think studying in the university, the most important thing is nurturing your own quality and  abilities. Why you chose current job if you don't like it?  You/He could choose what you want to do if you can. But if not, that is problem of yourself but not the major .

No matter who he meet,he should be happy.Life is just like chocolate,you will never know what is the flavor for next one.Keeping going on and inpossible is nothing.

it is best that some one can get a job related what he major study in school. But also we have to do the job non business to his major educated. That is the life.  You can not choose as you mind.  also someone will be in  sucess or in failure  in the area what  he do.   .what ever  he have educated about this.

it is best that some one can get a job related what he major study in school. But also we have to do the job non business to his major educated. That is the life.  You can not choose as you mind.  also someone will be in  sucess or in failure  in the area what  he do.   .what ever  he have educated about this.

Studying in major in legal or any stream is your likelyness to the subject, it doesn't mean you will do business or grow in the same field. Because some other industry or stream might be more profitable to you. Other thing you have chose majors in any field but study is for self development and finding what best you can do. At last it is your personal experience with the kind of work you do, your interest lies and even trial and error method that will make you chose your destiny or your right path........what you call as mr.right.
