Well,i am Tina Lin dealing with Trading.

And i would like to give you suggestion from my opinion.,

First,it depends on your business area.

According to most of our customers,it is better for you to have a contact with the factories

before you come to China.Especially,when you entry every place you want to visit.

Then finishing visiting the factories,then you can go around the markets to check and see

what is nice product there.

Second.Shanghai,it is very nice and rich place.and i know there are many customers from Europ.And it is good place for European People's living.as the living level is almost equal to European level.

And yiwu,it is good place for buying cheaper goods.

As most of goods in Yiwu is the stock from the factories and defetive goods all over China,

of course,there are also some factories are good,but before you go you should contact with the factory.as you don't know which shops are really good one in the market.

and what i want to praise is that the market in Yiwu is easy for customers to find all products.

as they  are centralismed in one place.

Guangzhou ,it is also a good place for the business men.

The quality is good ,of course,many people said the price is much cheaper in yiwu than in Guangzhou for the same products.

yes,it is.but if you don't care the quality,then it is better for you to yiwu,not guangzhou.

and if you want to get a good quality ,then welcome to guangzhou.

of course,if you don't want  to see nothing,then please contact with the factories but you come.

And shenzhen,it is also good place as well.it is a big market for electronic products.

like MP3,USB and computer facilities.and there are some very nice furnitures factories there as well.

and Wenzhou,it is a big market for fabric,of course,the products in the market in Yiwu,

most of the factories are from Wenzhou.but if you have time,it is still a good place to visit.

again:please contact with the factories before you come.as when you be there,you don't know where you should go first.and the factory is good guide.

Hongkong,as we know,it is very famous place for shopping .

and the prices of the electronic products imported all over the world are cheaper than in mainland of China.

but the consume there is very expensive.

For auto car accssories,Nanjing,Guangzhou,Chongqing would be good places.

For Bathroom,Yiwu,Taizhou,Kaiping would be  good places.

Hi,I have live in YiWu for several years.YiWu is a commodity city.I have a lot kinds of commodity.You can go there have a look.

Ashkan I agree that Yiwu would be a good place for jewelry products. There is a wide variety on offer there and you will be able to mix and match to fill order sizes. You should know your product so that you can spot poor quality but if you do then you should do okay.

Car accessories you want to look at a small city near Wenzhou called Ruian. Wenzhou is a good area for international business as the people have a lot of money and they are willing to invest this in their products. Ruian is the center of car accessories in this area.

Wenzhou/Ruian is about three and a half hours drive from Yiwu.

I live in the Wenzhou and Ruian area which is how I am familiar with the area.

I think Tina Lin makes a good point.

You should be establishing your contacts and making appointments BEFORE you come to China.

That way once you get here you will have an idea of suppliers, products, and prices. Then your visit can concentrate more on choosing good suppliers rather than being overwhelmed with products and prices.

first,welcome to china.

really,you should go to yiwu city and have a look, there is  big market, not can say a big,it is have a lot of market. when youself arrive there,then you can feel. a  lot of oversea person have there own company in there, in there you can meet  foreigner everywhere,also have  a lot of  restaurant  in different taste.yeah ,i know,you go there, the aim is not for eating .

i know when 26th  to 28th of july ,there have a exhibition.it is about  the technic of paper making ,and equipment.

have a oversea friend who building his own company in yiwu ,told me before"yiwu is really place for export and import trade"

i only arrived yiwu for one time ,in the beginer of this   month. but what a pity,i had not chance to visit it  well.

thanks a lot to all. helped me a lot! now I booked a train to yiwu first, stayin 3 nights, after that going to wenzhou and going back to shanghai to fly to shenzhen. after visiting shenzhen I will go to guangzhou and by train or ship to hk.

I think, so I will visit many important cities and can get many ideas beside my main jewelry business.

What I would like to ask is how can I get the addresses of wholesale markets for every of those cities? I mean, do the hotels know some markets or do I have really get a guider?

Is there maybe somewhere a list of addresses?
