Hi there.   Newbie  wants to ask.

1 step.  I found a product what i wanted to buy.

2 step.  I sent a letter to company that i want to buy from.

3 step.  I  got their pricelist  by email.

4 step.  I agreed ( by email again)  and asked the salesman of that company to send me product A`,  and product B`.  I gave him my address.

5 step. Without any formal contract  they asked me to transfer money to their account by Western union.

6. step  is to go to the  WU and transfer the money which i didnt do yet.

No phone calls, no formal forms  to fill.  Just emails.

Now my question is : is it common in international trading????

What will happen after i transfer my money.??  I have no sign, nor a contract.

What do i do.  any help would be great.

Hi Sir,

According to my experience, before you transfer deposit to this supplier, you should get:

  1. Formal buying contract from supplier (with supplier company chop)

  2.  Supplier information (including their company profile, license no., address, contact name, contact no., bank information, etc..)

 3. Copy of supplier license

Now that's all what I've thought.

Hope it would be useful for you.

Best Regards

Ada

Dear friend,

first thing, you should do a bit research about the company and a product,

Should call the supplier, and talk regarding the product and payment method, then ask for the supplier to provide you withing valid liecence..Remember scammers dont have it many times.

You can also higher agent or outside agency for the verification purpose. But if you think it is costly, you should only go for L/C.

Even if the supplier is not a scammer.......then. about the THE PRODUCT  32GB SANDISK....................i have gone to china......checked with my self many company 32GB branded fleshdrive.............to tell you.......all are fake.....duplicate..........it can take upto 28Gb data.......but........can hardly open 1gb.......and .......after that..........dont work at all for the second time. Many of the suppliers lure.......customer by such duplicate products.........thats why in all electronic products.....i buy one........and test my self..............then i put order.......

IF you go for such kind of the products.........you are losing your money.............

Be the one......passion to provide you the best........Storm Trading

I think you'd better sign the contract.

Better confirm if the sales is confident. From internet. Such as Google.

I also think it's quite common in China. And it's also depend on what quantity you want to buy.If you just want to see the sample, and the sample will cost lot.it's common that the supplier will ask you pay for it.There is no free lunch in this business.Everything will bear the adventure.

Now i got to thnk how should i divide my 10 points for best answer....[em3]

I think  Alibaba should automaticly bann every manufacturer who claims that they produce 64-128 GIGABYTE flash usb.

Tip for newbies  dont rush to get rid of your money.

Usually, the answer is NO.

If the amount of money is large with the best terms for the seller, you would only wire the money AFTER they faxed over copies of the ocean bills of lading.

If the amount of money is small (It is for samples and the amount in less than $1,000), a real seller would give you account information to wire the money to.

If you send this by Western Union, I expect that you will never hear from them again.

Another option is to use a letter of credit.

it seems it is common deal, But usually, I have no contract, but I must check the sample, So that buyer will do business with me.

But I have been cheated more than 10000usd by Shenzhen company and guangzhou company.  Now I don't believe the company in guangdong and fujian in China.

I heard about many messages of yours, I think this is not good business.

Maybe you only give up this business.

good luck

Thanks
