In fact , I like this position -- overseas sales.  Most important, I enjoy the happiness of communication with overseas clients.  Most of them are very intelligent, smart, humorous  and kind. They teach me a lot on life and work.

So please be kind and friendly to treat every client as friend.  Friendship comes first, business comes second.

I am a green hand in this field.My manager just give me two new clients and he is busy with his work .There is no time teaching me what i should  do!

I have already sent emails to my clients, there is no response.I dont know how to communicate with them in a proper way.No response ! No order!

Yes,you attitude is correct.i think we should become friend first before becoming a business partner.then communication is easy for each other.there is no barrier between us.

I agree with you. Because when you are friendly to others,especially the overseas clients, you can leave a good impression to them. Then we can talk much easier and busininess can not be just a daydream.

but if you are a boss , do you think chatting first , business second?

we  have to think about what type of clients whom are the same line with us . and then chat with them . this way will bring the business and enjoy the chatting
