I noticed reciently that the amount of trade leads in the forums seems to be increasing. I am sure that I am not the only one that finds it annoying and a complete disregard for the rules. The penalty of the post being erased and deducting 100 MVP's does not seem to deter this from happining.
I think that there should be a 3 strikes and your out rule applied.
Strike 1) The first offence should carry the same penalty currently in use.
Strike 2) On the second offence, the moderators should still erase the post and deduct 200 MVP's.
Strike 3) You are out of there! On the third offence the moderators should erase the post and your alibaba membership should be cancelled imediatly! This should apply to paid members as well as free members.
I would be curious to know what everyone else's opinion about this problem would be.
The Trade Leads are annoying, but this seems a bit harsh. I am also sure that you will never get Alibaba to cancel a paying membership, that may pay again in a year, just because they posted a Trade Lead in the Forums and broke a few rules. I also don't think posting a Trade Lead in the Forums is any more annoying then companies that send out Request to Buy and then when you answer with an item to sell, you find out that they really want you to buy their products. However, neither of these poor sales techniques are as annoying as all the scammers. If time and effort is going to be spent on anything, I vote for canceling the accounts of all the scammers.

Hello Chenchau,
Thanks for your reply. I do agree that the scammers must be stopped and I also hate getting the fake request to buy / sales messages. Perhaps I might seem a bit heavy handed with dealing with the trade lead problem. I am originally from New York and I guess that is just my style of dealing with incompetence or just blatent disregard for the rules. You are also right that Alibaba will never cancel a paying member ( look at all the Gold and Trust Pass scammers ) , So I guess this will just be wishful thinking.
