Please help me how to get money back from a Chinese company that failed to deliver a promised service. The URL of the company is

I have paid $1,159 along with original figures to YiWu MyTh a.k.a  AoTian  who claimed a Gold member of Alibaba for making a mold on Apr. 16, 2008.

But I have not received the promised mold but also the originals.

I was told they can not make the mold due to technical reasons.

The recipient of the money was

1908 Room JinMao Bldg

Yiwu 322000, Zhejiang


Does anybody have any suggestions how to get the money and original figures back without filing a complaint to Alibaba and/or legal authorities?

To tell you the truth ( based on experience),

IN CHINA, THERE IS NO SUCH A THING AS REFUND.  IT IS AGAINST THEIR CULTURES TO GIVE  MONEY BACK.  THEY WOULD RATHER DIE THAN GIVING ANYBODY A REFUND EVEN THOUGH HE/SHE HAS ALL THE RIGHT TO THE MONEY.

ONCE YOU SENT YOUR MONEY, CONSIDER IT  "LOSS MONEY". IF YOU GET WHAT YOU ORDERED YOU ARE LUCKY,  OTHERWISE THEY WILL JUST SAY," IN ORDER TO GIVE YOU CREDIT, YOU NEED TO ORDER MORE FROM US".


In other word, they are so used to scamming people they don't even know that they are doing it.

For many of them, it is  the way of life, the way they make their living. They consciously and willingly deny all the wrong doing because that's the way they have done it for a long time. The are told by their boss that that is the way to do business. The bosses or the company owners are the real THIEVES. The employees are the willing participants.

I have to admit there are good honest people who are doing business the right way. Again it is a matter of luck of finding them.

Unfortunately, it appears you have every right to say so. At least I am hundred percent agree with you based on my experience. However, I am trying to change the way they hurt not only themselves but also the Chinese business. At the same time, I am trying to save many future victims like us.  Wish me a good luck.
