Looks like Uganda has picked up some tricks of the trade from their Nigerian counterparts![em3] You would have been trapped if you had shipped the goods before encashing the cheques. Incidentally, I have just received an e-mail saying that there is a payment for USD500,000,000.00 (they never talk in small numbers!) waiting with a reputed courier company for delivery to me. Only that I have to remit USD 500 towards processing charges. Sounds tempting, doesn't it?

When dealing with Uganda the only way is through their consulate.  If they dont have one in Germany or Germany dosent have one in Uganda dont even bother.

Please do not accept the cheque from the buyer in Uganda; even the money is into your account, they still have the authority to get the money back.

Only 100% T/T prior to shipment is the best way.

Good luck.

 Hi Kosko,

If an order is too good to be true, stop dealing with them. There are many scams

sound legitimate and realistic. Genuine buyers will normally place a small sample

order first before they place a bigger one. The safest mode of payment is still T/T

wire transfer. Do not be too excited with bulk order that is too good to be true.

I suggest you read on the reported scam cases and the new techniques these

scammers employ.  Trade smart and you will get genuine overseas orders!
