    We are a New York based Garment company, looking to expand our business to Vietnam. We mostly have our garments made in China, but we are looking at the possibility of having some made in Vietnam as our business expands. We can put orders of bulk quantity, like no less than 200 pcs at a time.
    Our problem is we do not know where to contact Vietnam garment factories who will be interested to sit and discuss business possibilities. I've contacted many factories here on Alibaba but to no avail.
    Can anyone please suggest a good factory whom we can contact. Thank you very much.

we are going to set up a plant in  Vietnam this end of the year , and we have our own customers  .

I have done business in Vietnam before (Garments). I found the Vietnamese extremely difficult to deal with as the mindset does not allow for any type of lateral thinking and most factories are run like a military unit. In fact most big factories are run by the military.

Also you will have problems with 200 units per style as you will only want to deal with the bigger factories as the small ones are terrible (at least what I have seen).

I did deal with an American run agency in Vietnam who were pretty good. They are called CMT Apparel (details on Alibaba).
