I paid a fraudulent company PT.Centrobabystroller in Indonesia $2,500 using TT and have been conned by them with no product.
I called my bank within 48 hours but they said the money had left the country! Is it two late is it possible to get it back from Indonesia.
Thanks

Nope its gone. You did your due diligence to late. Banks will not safegard T/T payments to anyone as they are only providing a service by which anyone transfering their money should have excuted reasonable caution in verifying that the business or person the money was sent to was legitimate. Even credit card companies will not protect you for funds sent to other businesses as that business needs only to provide documentation that they sent something via trackable transport, and in the case of payment prior to a download of some kind of information or software the refund would have to be initiated by the supplier. With credit cards only if you can show that your number was used fraudulently then in most circumstances it would be protected.
However, I assume that you personally went to your bank, showed your identification, before the counter credit bank transfer was even initiated.
I was curious if you knew that most of what this company claims they are selling can only be bought directly from the Brand holders warehouse a few of the brand names have supply chain distributors none of which are located in Indonesia. Lets take this sellers claim to be selling Peg Perego strollers. A simple search would have told you that this is a family owned and operated company in the USA with manufacturing facilities and warehouses in Brazil, Italy, USA, and Canada and that they only sell to retailers.
The moral to this story is that information is readily available on any name brand product, you just have to do the work and have the inclination to check. This is one of the biggest operations that a great sourcing agent does for their buyer. They protect their business name while protecting the resources of their buying clients.

Why so many people so easy believe with Indonesian Scam that offering
such a brand name and Hi-tech product that impossible been made in Indonesia.
and more impossible with extremely down to earth prices ?
somehow that they would be a victim for unreasonable trade/transaction.
a speculation with "total loss - All full risk" no insurance.
Whilst I believe that the diligence it self were been with them before and after the deal?
Until Opa Wilhelm and others get so pathetic with Indonesian .................=scams
Or the inventor/ launcher of internet / e-commerce has to face a guilty feeling that they
invention for humanity/society had brought a saddest dramatic of fraud/scam victim ?
In my optic vision, analogy with "driving in freeway" i remember "drive safely" as any
possibility will come to us in freeway, being unaware you will hit others or other drivers
(careless one) will hit you. versi versa. But on freeway, a Patrol Police has a right to
stop you whenever they Suspicious us in "drive not safe" . I forgot for the 3 letters for it.
in their "terminology" ...do you catch it .? rgrds
Yep, we do!![]()
Moral of the story is: If it is too good to be true, it is too good to be true! Catch it?
