How to make you products cheaper and more competitive? To find alternative energy or to looking for other business chance?

The short answer is look for non fossil fuel raw material alternatives which are cost / performance/ process competitive and hope that you can find such a combination...that's the hard part.

This problem is urgent for my factory. As a machinery manufactory, our main raw material is steels. But facing with the price which goes up promptly every day, meanwhile, the same with rising oil price rapidly, we confused at one time. Now we cann't control them to rise, the efficient way for us is to enlarge our marketplace and look for more customers, not any at home but also aboard.
