I have done some international transactions successfully however I am looking to establish a relationship with an Indonesian firm but want to find someone in Indonesia to check out the company and the goods.

Where do you find such an individual?  Is there a forum or business category on Alibaba or would you recommend finding a service independent of Alibaba?

     1.  Use SGS network , to let their branch in Indonesia do it for you .

     2.  Cooperate with a logistic/ freight forwarding from USA that having branch office in  

          Indonesia, give them a prospect cargo to be planned/shipped, and would like them

          to contact your shipper.  This is so call a prospect shipment or sales lead !.

          then let them check it foryou through their branch office there.

     3.  Better insurance your transaction in a liability insurance coy. let those Insurance agent

          do a checking/survey for you.

     4.  Ask  directly to your counterpart/supplier, to provide: full set of documentary as like

          coy's registrar,  bank account, Trade-licenses, business license etc...

          Also ask a copy of  ID resident card. (KTP).

          then check it to closest Indonesian consular/embassy  to get confirmation.

Thank you.  I need a little more information if you wouldn't mind.  When I look at the SGS website (inspection and verification) the product I am interested in does not fit in their categories and it is too small an amount (this is a test order only with the company).

Second question, what does "coy's registrar" mean?  I am unfamiliar with this term.

       Company registration is  that whoever doing business in Indonesia  include personal or

       Private company,  will  apply  a  Trade license and registration, so they will get a reg nbr

       from  Our Dept of Trade and Industry (Gov). the trade license is SIUP = Surat Izin Usaha

       Perusahaan =  Letter of Company's  legal business license.

       In your " small quantity order" to  manage

       1. You can  advertise via Alibaba at buying leads:  Seeking  a freelance inspection control

            for  assisting  in  occasional  part timer Job ( short term).  with criteria ......

            send  your  CV and  Reference  to ........

           put  it in your  buying leads >  agent/services to do inspection or QC in Indonesia

        2. Contact to the nearet  University/High school  and  ask them to assist  You,  and for that

            (as above # 1) you would  hire  One  with  X  fee.

        And still many others option
