I was new to the import export field some year ago. I went to china to source some goods like, blankets, shoes etc. i rented a godown for a few days. it was pretty cheap. the next day supplier come to deliver the products to the godown which i chose when i ordered to their shop. At the time of checking of goods i found that the ordered goods are of not same quality and design. even if some are of qualitative but the colour is odd and different.  I have trusted my agent for the same but many times he doesnt have enough time to check each and every good.

After getting the container to my home country, i realized  the goods are not upto the mark. some shoes of pairs have even different colours, one is brown and one is light brown. who will buy such a shoes.

There are many good suppliers unlike this ones, whom we can trust  but ... a basic rule of law apply when there is a contract ...that is "buyer beware" ..a buyer must check goods thoroughlly and satisfy him/her self before loading. it is my request to all the fellow member to take precautions with the same.

that will solve half of my problem but, there is much delay in customs and it do happen that some products gone missing after custom inspection and shipment will be let by around 10 days for the inspection reason.

kindly let me know some solution to the above detail.

           I was in shoes business for many year,so here are some suggestion for you: a.normally,the quality in HuiZhou area are bad but cheaper,DongGuan and GuangZhou is better,but expensive  b.before you place the order,it's better for you to investigate the factory for a period of timeespecially recent years. c.keep yourself always active control everything before the full payment .the fomer Chairman Mao once said,passive mens half  fail.

i havent bought from huizhou. i have bought two brands..aotele and hongxie xilie...the thing isnt stop from that only. i have had some high quality blankets there..costing around $50 each... 2 gone missing.

Thanks for the advice.. Some friend suggested one thing, that.. if you are importing from china......to india.. make packaging as per indian stardard...do use.. indian material for packaging and stick indian symbols..

Come on,you needn't be that tired. what you need to do is find a reliably supplier.

I 've met some India younge man which runing a  shoes trading company  in the exhibition .you can try to contact with them to get some good suppliers,perhaps....

What other precautions i can take to avoid the other problems related with Customs and getting my shipment early.  My friend suggested that you make packaging keeping indian name in boxes and make best packaging to avoid...losing your products from the custom procedures.
