Ebay was sued to 60 M US$ for help selling fakes, can this happen to Alibaba ?

Last week a High Court in France has sued Ebay/France, with 60 Million US$ for active help in selling of counterfeited merchandise from Louis Vuitton and Dior.
In the same court case Ebay was forbidden to make advertisements/offers for some perfume brands. Not accepting this will Ebay cost 76,000 US$ a DAY !!!
Could this also happen to Alibaba and other B2B websites who knowingly allow suppliers to offer counterfeited Brand name items ?
Knowingly should mean, direct advertising the Brands by name, or after getting complaints about cheats with this Branded items !
What would happen if one of the Brand Owners, like now LVMH in France would claim a case at the International Court in Den Haag ?
Could China protect their companies against get sued and could it be possible that websites will be banned from publishing outside China or other involved countries ?
How long will Alibaba or other B2B websites survive if this happened ?

After saying all this you shoud knew that Ebay will not pay and has decided to take the case further.
What is 60M USD for Ebay.
This is nothing to what Ebay international can earn per day.
The Director of Ebay France said on TV that not only they will not pay, they will continue to sell perfumes on the site and he don't care about the fine.
The fact that so many people actually is out of unemployment in Europe because Ebay can make them earn a living, do you think the government of France with his policy will want to shut down a huge e-commerce business.
No man, this will end up with a One Euro Symbolical fine. That all. No perfumes or LVMH would want to send any on trial for long time cause this will make them lose more money than anything else.
This is only communication.
When you see what the song and musical industries in Europe are complaining about the net and all the money lost (50 %) of usual profit you can see that nothing is being done. And so much new artists are still taking the risk everyday for new hits and career. Its still going on.....

Clearly something should be done to halt fraud. One problem seems to be that many traders do not mind so much buying fakes as long as they can sell it for a profit. We see many posts from people looking for "honest" suppliers of fake goods.
