[em2][em2][em2]  yeah the FBI is going to jump right over to China and do an investigation[em2][em2][em2]  NOT.  The FBI is a division of the U.S. Department of Justice can do nothing about bad international trade deals.  If your going to be doing international trade Scooley I would hope you would know something about International Trade Law.

[em12]

My suggestion:

Hiring a lawyer will cost you much money and energy in China, the best way is to several locals to inspect them in person and catch the boss, forcing them to refund or ship your goods. It's quite fast and cost-effective !  Please feel free to ask me for any question related.

Remember: Chinese courts are very corrupted...

If you would like to share more of your background information about your case, I may engage the assistance of my legal acquaintance in China to help you.  You are most welcome to contact me on TM.  In the meantime, you need to establish the following points before we can assess if you have a strong and viable case to redeedm your loss :

     (i)  When did this "Rip-off" actually happens and when was the date you discovered you are being scammed and notified this "supplier"?  If the period is within 2 years of the incident, that you can address this matter in the Chinese legal system.

(ii) Do you have any correspondences,  Purchase Order, Invoice and receipt of payment from the "supplier" that they have received your payment for this order.  This can be used as contract of your transaction as well as prrof of the agreement between you as the buyer and your supplier.

(iii)  Have you met the legal representative or boss of this factory?  Are you willing to personally make a trip to China to accompanying to press legal charge against this company should the lawyer assess that you have a case?

Best Regards.
