Not as far as my research goes.  I have found one (Putian Tangrentrade Co., Ltd.) offering $USD768 with $USD 30 freight.  The other was $USD1000.  Both are gold members, so worth trying.  I have ordered from the first and will receive next week to check quality, service etc.  Will post again when I can confirm reliability.  Given RRP is $USD1799 ther margin here for sellers is brilliant.

    Dear Marketingebay

    [em2]  [em2]  [em2]  [em2]  [em2]

Do you see that little "Search Forums" panel up top here?

Punch in your beloved "Putian Tangrentrade Co" and then add yourself to the victims who have been scammed ... and yes, they are one of thousands of Alibaba's famed Gold Members from whom Alibaba collects some $8k pa each, to kowingly list their fake stuff.

The computer you will receive from Putian will be either a cheap useless fake or a local Chinese brand computer.

The really bad news is that you will be unable to legally resell it for any price in Australia because it will not be Australian A-Tick certified. Read more about compulsory certifications for Australia, here ...

    http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/309558/Importing_Computers_From_China_to_Australia.htm

Get an insight into compulsory CE certifications for EU here ...

    http://resources.alibaba.com/topic/313305/CE_conformity_importing_electrical_products_into_EU_.htm

For USA you need UL and FCC certifications.

Some 99.9% of any sort of China mainland electronic product (that's 999 in every 1,000) listed on Alibaba are either fake brand names or do not have the compulsory certifications needed for legal resale in the West.

The good news is that you can sometimes find the very hard to find good quality electronic product in mainland China, and then spend 6 months and serious dollars getting it certified in your country ... bingo, you suddenly have your very own brand name product for legal sale in your country ... but that's a whole different story, especially when you get to the product warranty side of the financial equation.

Meawhile, Alibaba and ite Gold Member scammers continue to cream in millions each year because most little Western electronic buyers live in HOPE rather than in REALITY.

I have bought a laptop brand TOSHIBA LAST YEAR,cost 4180RMB(chinese dollars).

the quality is good and i am using it  this moment.

the laptop made in china and OEM,so the cost will be low.  and i can`t confirm this taplop have been approved by CE or UL, but it`s really in good quatity-----except the speed is not as quick as the higher taplop, but  the seller have told me this problem. and the speed not very bad just a little slow.

any more you can talk with me by me email address: joshua.teng@hotmail.com

Is it possible? If it's true, please tell me. I have been looking forward to buy a macbook. BTW, I live in shenzhen, china. It's an important electronics production base in china. Good luck! please care about the fake or refurbished.[em1]

Interesting that someone from down under calls this company legit.  Simple google search of 'Scam - Putian Tangrentrade Co., Ltd.' reveals 672 posts of people being scammed out of their money.  672 X 500 = $336,000.00USD and thats just from the ones that have said they were scammed by this company.

Also if you want to know how much of a scammer this company is, take for instance the fact that they claim to be offering GHD products for export.  Contact GHD directly via their website and they will tell you that they have no such distributors in China which have the legal right to export these products abroad.  Then go to the next brand name say Dior watches and then contact  LVMH (Louis Vutton/ Moet/ Hennesy) and they will tell you the same thing.  That his company has no distribution agreement with them to export their goods from China.

wy do you care so much about who has distribution rights and who doesnt! Everything is made in china..from toilet seats to Iphones to macbook Airs..I just ordered a sony vaio and its in great condition. You just need to do ur DD and test out these suppliers first by ordering few small items to see if they actually send you what you initially asked for. build a relationship and try it out..worked for me. as for rights to distribute...not my problem if they sell in black market.! still make my bucks by re-selling here!

You seem to be missing the point.....

A lot of people assume that as the real product is being made in factories in China that you can access that supply at the factory level and save lots of money. This assumption is incorrect.

Yes the real brand name companies are producing these products in China in many cases but NO you cannot access that supply as it is all made and distributed under contract. No legitimate factory is going to risk their contracts with Sony just so that they can sell a couple of pieces to some guy who wants to make cash selling on ebay. That just does not make sense.

So what you see being offered are either scammers who will take your money and not send you anything, or send you some counterfeit product.

Counterfeit product will be confiscated and destroyed by customs your end if they find it.

Counterfeit product is not covered by any warranties, guaranties, nor safety certfication. As the importer of the product you are the one who will get sued if the item malfunctions and causes a problem.

Counterfeit product is illegal to sell in your country and you face fines and imprisonment if you get caught.

So where is the advantage here? Cheap crap that you can sell for quick gains until you either get caught and shut down, or until your customers start complaining about faulty items and you close down yourself. Doesnt sound like a very solid business model to me!

There are so many buyers bought a large quantity of high quality products made in China.

They won't advertise these information on the forum, cause these China suppliers make them earn money, and they are not willing to share these information.

    My suggestion is:

Never buy brand electronic products from China,it's a common sense they must be fakes as the guy(upstairs) said.
