There is no guarantee with both Gold or Trustpass! Alibaba only does basic checks. I have personally been scammed by both Gold and Trust Pass members. And many people in these forums.

I am soon to be a trust pass member, not because i want to feed alibaba their fees, just for the fact that i want more enquirys! I havent heard from them in nearly 2 weeks, so I doubt there are doing relevant checks on my company.

You need to get the companies full details, like company registration numbers, tax numbers,  registered office address, directors name and things. If its possible make visits. Oh and check their phone numbers and fax lines.

Be careful, hate to hear of more people losing money!
