Would you lend money to your friend?
You risk the relationship by saying no,
but you are taking a big risk by saying yes...
which' ll you choose?
Quoting from [davadi]:That depends on "a thousand" circumstances. Use your "sixth sense". Myself, quite often I prefer to lose a dollar than losing a friend.Would you lend money to your friend?

It's just a matter of common sense. For example, about 25 years ago I was going to do business with a guy on a 50:50 basis. But it was about a lot of money, and he wanted it all. He managed indeed to get me out of the business, but he wasn't able to do it without me.
Later I explained to him what an * he had been. For all practical purposes, he would have lived just as well with 50% of the total profit than with 100%, but due to his lack of understanding of this fact he got nothing at all - not a penny!
Sometimes in life it's very important to understand the consequences in the long run of what we are doing. Life is more than just this very moment and what we receive or "lose". And helping a friend in need is a long-term investment.
