The best laptop producers are the one who produces long-lasting laptops, and many in China weren't. You got to search more.

   Firstly,you can choose Chiese supplier,and make inquiry to them,choose the best 2-3 factories,to make a trip to visit this factories,and ask for sample(usually the factory provide free sample,and the client afford the freight).Secondly,we often use TT/LC,This can be convenient to the factory.

 Hi WestcoasterXL, Well I would recomend you Hasee, they are a manufacturer of laptops and are well known in China. They also appeared in a tv documentary for Discovery Channel, I dont know if they would only sell 1 single laptop but you can give it a try.
