I am going through many trading companies and whloilesellers from china(Listed in this site). Many of them are saying that they would sell say nokia phones for a price about 20% less than US price.

My question is, how do I know that these are original handsets and not fakes. Can a trader in china sell nokia or say samsung phone just like that?

In that note, suppose I select a trading company and plan to buy stuff from them, how do I pay them safely? Most of them take only western Union or moneygram. I talked about escrow.com with some of them, but they are flat out rejecting!. I would like to know, normally when someone starts a business what kind of safeguard he or she puts so that 1) not handed a fake item, and 2) notscammed for money?

on the  battery of a nokia it will have a holographic nokia symbol but really its almost impossible to tell the external parts are a dime a dozen and even the software is just downloaded to a hard drive really ur best safe bet would be to get your your supplier to sign a contract saying he or she is supplying you with authentic merchandise and assumes all liability for loss or injury reasulting other wise you could always speak to the cell phone company themselves to see who their authorized dealers are but that doesnt stop them from selling fake ones on the side always back yourself with a contract you could even put something in there about price so they dont up it hopefully ive helped a bit have a good dey

Firstly do not even start to do bussiness with somebody who offer Western Union or moneygram only as a method of payment!!! I can tell you they're 99% scammers.

It is not as cheap as in China but you got guarantee you'll get only original product with warranty . Chineese suppliers if they not scammers they sell quite often replicas, some of them not work at all .

I don't know any Chineese wholesalers who sell branded mobiles and electronic equipment , but I know mobiles are products which people are most scammed with, so you got to be really careful.

The first thing you have to realize is that you can NOT buy original brand name electronic from China, what you will receive is either fake, wrong defective items, a box with a pair of shoes/T-shirt or simply absolutely nothing,

The import tax on those items is so high in that it will be TOTALLY impossible to buy them cheaper than from a local distributor from your home country,

Here in HK the quite often bust smuggling gangs who dig tunnel or make small cable cars to smuggle phones and other electronic in to China just too safe the tax, so please don’t believe that you can buy what you are looking for at those prices offered here on Alibaba or other B2B sites,     

Spend some time to read some of the post here in the forum and you will soon learn what is possible or not:

In my opinion, if you want to buy original nokia phones, you only can get them from the licensed distributors in your country. Otherwise, you are going to smuggle the "original" nokia phones from china into usa. As I know, there are 4 kinds phones: original from licensed, original smuggled from hongkong, copied, refurbished. The last two kinds are fake. There are more risks for this business. Hope these info are useful for you. Please be more careful! I am mike from shenzhen, china. It looks like many people have already answered your question but I just wanted to reiterate that you cannot get authentic electronics from China. The clothes, shoes, bags, electronics, DVDs...everything is replica merchandise. Do not believe any manufacturer in China that says they are authentic. If it seems too good to be true, IT IS, trust me on this one. Contact local dealers in your area for electronics or at least stay inside the US unless you are dealing directly with Nokia or whichever manufacturer to become a dealer for them yourself.

I got a very bad experience trading with a Chinese company, never send money by Money gram or
Western Union
, because after the got the money sent a wrong things, or not send your products.

I brought to this company http://xmoilpainting.en.alibaba.com they ship me a different things, they don’t change it and never more.

 

NEVER SEND MONEY, TO CHINESE COMPANY, just L/C.

Hi,

I suggest, you must go for Sampling the product. As in your case.. its mobiles...it want cost more than couple of hundred dollers to you to go for sampling.

Its not easy to know whether the items are fake or original. On you part, it requires thorough inspection of both fake and original ones. there is a slight difference between size of the phones, functions, battery, and major price difference. I have had visited many chinese and foreign markets for the same. There are major difference between a functions and price. the look might be same but...difference has to be there.

If you are newly entrant in the market, i suggest you to visit market personally from which you are importing. it will cost you little higher, but you get enough knowledge regarding product and terms of trade for future course of business. i suggest, you should also keep original sample of the product with you while you go for imports.

2) do not pay by western union to any name, only to company name

3)i thing !!! dont pay ,never never and never by western union

4)the internet companys ,whitch are in Putian or  states near  Putian is 97% without bussines lisens !!!!!!! or it is fate

5)you must ask first the companys to send you the bussines lisens andl then you call  them and  speak with them,also check very carefully the site of them

6)pay them when you are sure for them

7)buy first of them a samble, to check them and if they are ok then dont buy to the secont time a bulk order ,buy 10 pcs and again and again and again

8)if you want to much to buy many and the invoice is to big then ask them to pay to them by L/C (LIESENS OF GREDIT).  you give the money to your bank at their accound,but they can't take the money so if the goods come to you and is not ok then your bank dont give the money to them,if they dont accept the L/C paymend then dont buy from them anything never.

9)if the order is small and you want the goods then you ask them if they accept paypal or you give the money to your courier and then they go to this company to check  the goods for you and if is ok then they collect it and they pay that company cash,or the time when is there your courier and they check it for you and is ok then you pay that  company by western union to check that company your paymend and then they say to your courier  ''ok''

10)dont buy from anyone if is not trust pass or gold suplier up to 2-3 years if you dont know him and check the trade manager of them if they are open and they can speak you there,and all of the files they must send you in the trade manager and you must speak with them to trade manager ,NOT TO MSN. and then if you loose money of them then you can send your speak  with them to the ''help of alibaba'' .

11)from china is better to buy china goods,not nokia or any other brand like nokia from china ,95% is fake!! and ask them the warandy when is start ,bicause mayby is without  warandy for the nokia company and they sell it very cheap bicause they cant sell it. for the laptop is without  the original windows or any program ,for that is cheap.for the playstation 3 ,cheaper is from germany to buy it or from japan,from china they cant sell it out of the china that playstations and if they sell it then the guality is not good.for the cameras is the beter to buy china cameras from china.for the lcd tv then the tax in china is to high for the lcd tv and for that is not good price,

with all of that my friend , they cand sent you fake goods,and if they sell fake then they dont want to work with you.to find a good company is big problem my friend!!!!

Forget it!!! Nobody could sell you NOKIA phones with cheap prices in China! They are selling replicas I guess.

A Preshipment QC inspection can avoid some questions you mentioned herein!  Take care!
