Hello Leosun-san.

[em2][em2]... I am always not too busy promoting my green tea. I am too busy promoting my alcohol beverage.

As for the whales-in-a-can.... I am opposed to the killingmore whales. And I think Japanese government did aterrible job helping corporate companies to hunt and kill whales. *sigh*...... the whales industry is already very small in Japan, and the current small quantity killing of non-endangered whale species off the coast of Japan is enough to sustain the small surviving companies. The government is helping "them" to revive the industry by killing more whales is totally absurd.

But if you think about it more, the Chinese government allowing the killing of more sharks for the delicacy **** soup is absurd too?

So, why not everybody drink a good delicious cup of green tea, and not destroy our natural environment by killing more whales and sharks?

Beef and pork are eaten in huge quantities every day around the globe, and they are not in danger of extinction. Maybe there is a lesson to be learned... [em3]

Totally agree, no killing to those sharks and whales, and we eat normally like pork and beef ,chicken , sure it causes no harm at all . And more healthy too.

An introduction about your beverage, possible? Must be something new,I guess. [em10]

Well, my point was that if we had "fish ranches", then most likely these species won't be threatened.

Yes, in japan, we had lots of seafood farms all over the coast of japan, we called "yoshoku". Unfortunately, whales are too big for seafood farming... LOL...

Another point I wanted to make is that customers tend to pay premium for naturally caught seafood. So, since Japan is still a rich country, the demand for this salmon, tuna, abalone is very high. Japan will see a low supply of tuna, and salmon this summer.....

Despite lots of oppositions around the world, Japanese seem close their ears and do not listen to what we request" No killing and hunting the WHALES!" Why? Are Japanese got nothing to eat and whales meat will help them to have long life???[em8]

Thomas San, please tell us why?????? [em12]

Dear dear whale-loving Leosun,

LOL...... It is all due to politic and culture, and I do not want to move further in to a political topic that I or most of the Japanese do know either.

As for why Japanese keep eating the whales is equivalent to why Chinese, as a seafood eating culture, like to **** soup forcing Basketball star Yao Ming to be neutral, or equivalent toelusive sun-tanned poachers going after dangerous Rhino'shorn orElephant's Ivory Tusks, or equivalent to high class techno millionairs Americans craze over Jumbo crab meat and overfishing Blue Swimming Crab off the coast of Lake Ponchantrain, or equivalent to the destruction of the Rain Forest for timber and construction of cities and towns in Indonesia and Malaysia.................

Like I said it is all political and cultural...... I am not defending nor I am approvingJapan's action, but sometimes the answer is already there in front of you. We all tend to do something selfish for our own cultural ways.... dont you think so? Do I need to add more?

NIce topics, replying to the Germex's considerations, glad to inform his

forum that in Sicily, a Italian province, there are a lot of "Tune Ranch" in

our sea.

All Japanese's property.

Regards.

Admittedly it would be somewhat harder to have a "whale ranch", and also many fish ranches are too close to the waste waters coming from coastal cities, but basically it is a sound concept.

Where does that tuna fish go - to Italy or Japan?

All the Tuna fish are for the Japanese market.

There, in Japan, the fish is payed very well and it seems

that they like the smell of ours sea, cos we sell there a lot of fish.

I like the fish too but we eat only the free fish that run in the sea.

Ciao
