I agree with you on the above. However, I have one question in mind who should pay for the extra tranaction fee by the third party (Paypal), escrow. As personally I believe a good relationship between supplier and customer should be working together to maxuimise the mutal benfite between, but giving some of our potential profit to a third party for a small order, do not sound like a perfect situation.

that is why: it is look I am asking a question ?
actually I send the Hints ( can be a tips ).
why for SME ( small order for small company )
never get close deal (transaction). why only Inquiry and no order ..
one among the clue is the payment method been offered.

A strategy must there in Sales : Payment method
let say :
small order , small value by escrow or Pay Pal
Medium Order by Bank Guarantee
Big Order By LC
etc

I think only small buyers get caught up in payment terms. If the client is really serious about your products, there will always be a way to agree on the terms.

One Uni:

1. In fact, Most of Big corporate companies, never pay  Bank T/T  or Down Payment.

    And Majority of Small Buyers( retailer, reseller) may accept to do bank t/t for the payment.

2. On the contrary Unless as a Big Company/Corporation or such a go public one,

    New buyer would doubt it, regarding the secure & safe payment.

3. Unless your products are in position of Seller Market, ! even serious-client will keep in

    selective, cautious and protective in dealing the transaction.

4. Good product, competitive price, promotion and quick-delivery are Market-wise, but the

    Payment Terms as the art of negotiation/dealing is also as the Selling-Key factor.
