I am a foreign trader in China,in fact,i usually contact buyers trough E-mail.So when i search something relevent to the buyer,i care more about the E-mail address.When i got it,i mailed them as more as possible,but who knows,so a few reply me,or i even got no reply most of the time.
So someone told me,i should take some phone sale,my question is,as a buyer,when you received a call from me that is not very good at speaking,and a little shy,what do you think about,do you think it is trouble some?

Far too many sellers send out correspondence to any and all contacts they can find with little regard for whether the person receiving the contact is in any need of that product. This is called spam.
So spend time to target your customers and then understand each of them a little bit BEFORE you even try to contact them.
You need to show them that you want to do business with them not just get orders from them.

Honestly, I prefer IM and e-mail.
Whereas in text I can figure out what you are saying, hearing incorrect grammar coupled with accent issues simply means too much work for me to close the deal.
I don't know about you, but I prefer to work less and make more money. ;-)
I get lots of e-mail on Alibaba. Unfortunately, my buying lead is as specific as it gets. Those who e-mail me with products that have no bearing on my needs get reported as spam. I know very exactly what I want and everything else is a waste of my time.
E-mail marketing is difficult to do right. Study books on "copywriting". That has nothing to do with copyright.

i hope for you the best . Now, you have 2 things u have to take care of it
1- Forget thinking of your shy and make your english level more and clear( u can catch a
flower when talking to calm your self .
2- Sales through telephone is one of the ways to sell but not the only way and u have to
follow all ways.
Some clients need telephone contact .others chat . others mail or email.others in trade fairs. All those customers have their reason to prefer the way of contact.
Your message in contact have to cover all these ways of contact .But how?
Reply : if u make any way of conections with the customer . u can ask him or her about the way he or she prefer u can say( do you prefer sending our offer by email or others...) when he reply you know which way he prefers and you can expect his action by his or her
talk with u through some words and feelings .( ok ...ok...ok.. say ok alot may mean no or he is busy but do not depend ) ( no / yes) means clear reply . if he or she ask abut detailes that mean he or she really interested .
when you make a call phone , rember there are another ways you have to follow
before this u have to know something
there are 3 types of reallize
1 - by his feeling (he say : i feel . i smell . i wake up...etc)
2- by his eye ( i see - the colours are not ok .it need to be more beauity......etc)
3- by his mind ( send me your email - how is it working - your details pls. - ...etc)
anyone have the 3 type in his personality but his type focus with 50-80% of his talking.
So your messege to others have to cover the 3 types by mixing your words between the 3
you can say(if you see i can send you the email with details and ckeck it with your rest
care .) the most of people are prefer by see but not all.
with another way . when you talk with others they say what their type say.so know his or her type and focus your talk with the type he or she is.
when you make this , u shall forget the shy english cut and make it away

You seems to be very good at catching others' feeling, So great!
As far as I am concerned, It has nothing to do with the communication methods. I do not think a busy buyer welcomes being disturbed by an unknown supplier with broken language.
It is a quite a common situaltion for all beginners. Sometimes it makes a beginner lose their confidence to get any buyers. But let's stand on a buyer's positon: A buyer may receive quite a large sum of offering mails every day. Would we treat every mail from some unknown suppliers seriously whlie we are busy with our purchase from the existed resouces? anything makes any sense in the mail? a new product? a supplier with better quality or better price?or just some meaningless greeting words?
If you could understand the needs of your potential buyers, you will surely know how to attract their attentions. Perhaps you could not get an order right away, but they will surely treat your mail seriously and carefully. They will give you a polite reply , or they will give you some requests for your detailed imformation. Then you are not far from success.
Keep working on it, buddy. You will surely succeed in the coming future.
