How can I reply to customer's inquiry well?

     I have received many inquiry from customer in every day.I felt very happy that many cutomer interest in our r/c helicopter.So I pay patience to reply the inquiry to every customer carefully.But I felt disappointment that most of customer has not reply  message to me again.I searching for the many reasons ,but  I have no ideas.we are the direct manufacturer,so we also give the best price to customer.Who can help me ?Many thanks.

I am facing the same problem at the beginning. I have joined Alibaba training course and found they are very helpful.  These are the experience I have got and will be pleased to share with you:

We have to analyze the purpose of each inquiry: some of them just want to have some product knowledge through us, or some want to have price idea, the order want to find a supplier with better price.  Just click the customer's website to find if they are selling the related products. We also search from Google and Yahoo to find out if any of their information posted on internet.

After we answer their inquiry in a profession way, we should send a following up email to them one or two days later and make a phone call after to make sure: if your reply has been sent sucessfully and was read by the customer.  (Skype will be helpful and economical for you to make IDD call.)

Please pay attention the format of your quotation is also very important. The customer might not be able to open your file because your file is too big, or the they do not have the software to open your file.  I suggest you to put the prices and brief description on the text of your emal and enclose the details quotaion sheet in attachment (I usually sent PDF file).

Even your customers do not reply your email, you might need to keep them not forgetting you. Keep on informing them your new products, new promotion. There will two or three get back to you.

Keep pacient! Keep refreshing your products and keep contacting your customers not only the new inquiries you receive but also go back to your inquiry record.

It really involves a lot of skill and knowledge to attrack your customers to come back to you.

Yes, the same situation with me. This is a common question. There are many reasons involved. Someone only want to know your price to compare with others. Someone is just gathering the market information..

Of course,  you will have a good start if you analyze every customer's inquiry carefully. You needn't reply every inquiry and just keep in touch with the effective customer.

We have many methods to know about the customers. Such as google in English website, http://www.tradesns.com  you can find many customers' information from this website.

Generally, you should analyze the customer then decide if you need to reply to it.

       Zoe  Lam :  let me see the case  and  do the diagnostic 

     1. Customers or Inquiries ?  give me the statistic,  is it  personal, company =

         reseller, whleseller or importer ?  ....do to know  research your  potential customer ..

     2. MOQ = minimum Order Qty , in what range your/coy  apply  the minimum order ?

     3. Competitive / tor :  the pricing, it is ok you already quote them  but have you check others

          also  is it fob ?  what about  the delivery cost ? also competitive or not ?

         You need to know  the cost factor  of  delivery / shipping., this is  how your buyer is thinking.

     By  3 points above, we can go to analyze  your  problem.

Yes,I think it's normal.At present I begin to do internaitonal seller. Face the same problem. Main is little inquiry,little back customer. I think above answer well. I will do according his advice.

Think of Milk, at the top of milk is a little bit of Cream :)

Firstly, you will Not get every sale. Please remember this. It saves a lot of disappointments.

2. A lot of people "window shop" (they are just looking and asking stupid questions, because they can)

3. Then there are the a.s.s.holes. They have nothing better to do than to pretend they want to buy many items, but in reality, they just was 1 item and if they can get this for free as a sample, they are happy. You fix this by offering SAMPLE PACKS which you CHARGE money for. In other words, Charge them for each "sample" they want. The Honest people will pay and the dishonest people will go and annoy someone else who is not as smart as you.

The best "trick" is to say to them "WHEN you buy your first BIG ORDER of 100, 500, 1,000 or whatever you think is a good number, then YOU will "deduct" the sample payment from this order" This is a honest thing and good for business and builds trust with honest people.

4. Host a second website (a DEMO website) in the USA, NOT CHINA. The band width from China is disasterous and most people DO NOT have time to download slow oversized and poor quality images. On this website, you have a photo gallery.

Small THUMBNAIL images and larger 600x600 pixel SHOW IMAGES

This way people can CLEARLY SEE the product

You MUST have a full description of HOW the product works, WHAT IT DOES and if you can, include operating TIPS if possible.

maybe they need time to consider whether that price is workable.so do not feel disappointed.keep good mood every day.every thing will be past naturally.

I also have the problem same as you in the first period. you have to be patient and reply their inquiry which you think that it's effective and follow up your customers. If they want to do the business with you really, they will feedback you, If not , try using another way of marketing strategy. Be patient Good luck to YoU!!

I envy you that you have so many inquiry, i have few,so you should evaluate and reply to them carefully. Persist in it.
