Brazilian Sellers

I have been trying to complete deals with sellers from Brazil and most of them want BG 90 days. I can only offer an LC (100% at sight). I thought that from a sellers point an LC is better than a BG. Is this not true?

There is no advantage to them in not accepting an L/C at sight. Many businesses have been scammed by Bank Guarantee's especially if they dont know how that instrument of payment works.
