Is it really high charge while making telex bank to Nepal?
Post 1 of 12

Hi,

We are small Handicraft supplier company from Nepal,  prefer to receive payment by telex bank transfer from our customers. But most of our customer hesitate to pay by telex bank transfer saying banking transfer charge is too much for them and we have not paypal system in nepal and western Union money transfer is not acceptable for our taxation department.

So, only because of payment procedure, we do not want to lose our valued customers. Anybody can help us what is the best alternative to receive payment from our abroad customers???

regards,

Ramila

I think you can open a account in Hangkong or other city which you feel OK. Let your customers transfer the money to their. You can draw back funds each month or each year together. It is easy for you to get them onc

well as per my information the maximum charges for any amount transfer by T.T. is under 60$ per transaction,  you should asked your banker to provide you American bank information in which your local bank having account. and forward the same to your buyer, i am sure by this way you'll not face any problem.

Hi,Ramila

For the problem of bank procedure fee, usually it depends on the country and bank, most of our customer accept the bank fee, as it is about 20-30USD per transaction, so my suggestion is:you can add this bank fee in the shipping freight or other indirect way, that is clear to everyone, so I think this bank fee is not too much for one order, hope it is helpful for your reference.
