Yes sir, I do understand your point, thank you for the clarification.

Actually the problem you listed also do happen in PTA. SMEs are always at risk of being overwhelm by big corporation. I have actually write a little about this in my artical on fake.

I decide to join this forum because it is a good place for us to voice our problem, seek solution and help out our fellows SMEs citizens. It is always difficult to compete with big corporation but as long as we, the small fries unite and help out one another, many of us will still survive. We do not like to see a "Big Brother" situation, do we??

To  Frank  Yeo:  At  last  you  had caught the Hints,  glad to hear that.

One of  a support  for  SME  is  What  Jack Ma  had  given to us = " Alibaba"  !

By  means that  we  could  penetrate  market, direct dealing to end user or customers.   With such  opportunity ,  it may say  an equal  chance to  get  an equal right  to doing  sales... (while  the marketing  been doing  by  Alibaba-system).....   however  the SME need  to improve  the  quality  and  the  efficiency  too.

PTA - Preferential Tariff Rates - ds is being used for non afta members.

GATT - Goverment Agreeement on Tariff and Trade - a agreement bet. two trading country for their export/import ruling for a particula products.

CEPT - is being used for those afta members, wherein if they import from other afta country members, they can avail the lower tariff rates to be used provided that the products composed of 60% of raw materials of the exporting country.

By  these  Preferential  and  the  tariff agreement ,

It is  help to generate  the trade (export-import)  inter states.

a more open or potential- market to export/import by using this facility.

the lower tariff (duty & tax) will reduce the selling price, it will motivate

interest a more buyer with the offering (prices-approach).
