Thanks for the reply, thankfully i didnt send the money as i got suspicious when they rang me as soon as i came off the computer. I have lost money before so i was cautious anyway.  They were in finland but money had to go to usa! However, finland are only 2 hours in front of us, and his emails were 8 hours in front, so this is something else to watch out for. This put them somewhere in asia. They even tried to get us to send money after they gave us tracking number for the goods, it is a webpage they make up to fool you into thinking the goods are on route. I have not found 1 trustworthy person in finland!!!!!

Did you get your goods anywhere else in the end or did you just give up?

I have bought goods in china and india, been ripped off twice in india, so beware of this country, i always receive goods from china, however i know people do get ripped off from this country. I've just been lucky so far i guess!

I dont feel alibaba is working very well at the moment, too many con-men on there, so take care. Im really sorry to hear you were ripped off by one of my fellow countryman, what company was that? Its useful to know.

You can not always know where the company is located.  There is no problem to  have a phone number from one country while sitting in another country.

i did communicate with the police in the UK, but i guess scammers, can relocate. but with my scammer he still wants more money for insurance, before that he said it was covered. the worst of is he said i need an import license from UK and i am from NZ, he thought h was smart by changing import license to insurance. so obviously i lost money, but i am not falling for it again with his fake insurance claim. i mite save up and go to countries to find legit suppliers and do business. it is the safest way, or get an agent. thanks for ur concern, good luck with u too.

i am one of the who got scammed by a Finland company but experiences about  this scamming was interesting, maybe you think they are just one company who scams people but they are not. i contacted with many one of them i talked with one for a while but he couldnt give me a properly informations about their phones.

i wanted the1r product pictures he couldnt give ,always kept me wait  and always found excuses. we gave to each other our MSN adresses, we were in contact but i  started to think he is not  a real company but we continued to talk at there .i asked to him picture for showing me he created huge excuses finally he put a picture to his MSN it was looking a copy picture belong to someone else  .whatever i didnt buy from this guy but after he felt that i wouldnt make order someone added my MSN .i asked who you are he said you sent me inquiry from trade manger we talked at there etc. it was strange cause i know very well and i was very sure  i didnt contact for from USA for cell phones whatever i asked his trade manager ID  and searched his ID yes his trade ID was looking from USA but i didnt feel trust and stopped to talk .but these two company were in my MSN contacts whatever i found anether company from Finland for to make order  cause i needed to that phone very urgent i made order and paid then  i got scammed .their sales manager was talking with me as woman after i made complaint to Alibaba and when she or he learnt this started to swear me from trade manger and said i am not  a woman as you gussed i will come to there and show you and he said you cant guess from which country  i am  and he has many people from all world  and they can find me etc   

and I dont use my MSN often i logged in yet today and and second company sales manager  in my story from USA sent me message but his picture on his MSN was same with first company sales manager's  from Finland it was a long time ago he should be not aware of that i saw this picture at other company's msn.

now i am thinking  all these companies related with each other or belong to same person and they registered from different countries and they let each other know our informations if one of them cant cheat other one trying

Hi everybody, i wish i had looked into this before i get ripped off by semilar people from Finland...however i don't think they are really in finland ... i paid money to someone in UK then i was asked to pay for someone in NIGERIA and the people themselves dose not sound from Europe at all, and am receiving phone calls from odd numbers.... anyways, dose anybody know a company which is deacent and dose good buisness (for mobile brand phones)?....
