Best & Safe Way for Dealing with International Suppliers - Credit Cards & PayPal
Hello & Greetings to all from India.
Allow me to introduce myself first. I am Gautam Khorana, Director of Bello Jewels Pvt Ltd and we are in the loose gemstones and gemstone silver & gold jewelry business.
I am writing this for all potential buyers/importers(of any category) who typically buy in the range of US $ 100 - 10000. Even if you purchase in excess of US $ 100,000-200,000++ this guide could be useful, so just read on.
I beleive the best way you can trust a person/supplier is if he/she offers PayPal or Credit Cards as payment option. I know PayPal can be difficult for suppliers sometimes, but trust me but Credit Cards can be offered by everyone from almost any corner of the world.
Why you may ask payments by paypal or credit cards are safe?
We'll you can ask for your money back from PayPal or Credit Card Company if the supplier/exporter cannot send proof of shipping. Generally you cannot transact very high amounts via paypal or credit cards and its not viable to the supplier as well because 3-5% commission is charged by either of the payment processors but to build confidence with any supplier its the best and I think the only way that transactions should be done. Once trust & faith is built up with a supplier after 2-3 dealings, you can then go ahead and deal by Bank Wire, Western Union, MoneyrGram, International Money Orders/Postal Orders etc.
Feel free to message or reply in case of any doubts or queries. I will try to reply back as soon as I can.
I wish you all the Very Best
