1,It has no keyboard. No keyboard means no tactile feedback means bad.
2,No 3G.
3,It only has (at most) 8Gb of memory. For something that really looks like it wants to be a computer in your pocket, that isn’t much. When was the last time you used a laptop that only had an 8Gb HDD?
4,It’s completely controlled by touchscreen. With the best will in the world, touch screen means fingerprints and scratches. Ouch.
5,In the US, at least, you're currently tied to one single network provider.
6,The battery life is nothing to write home about.
7,All syncing is controlled by iTunes.
8,The earphones are classic iPod white, but the device is black. Muggings will increase.
9,They’re pretty darned expensive. At $599 plus a two year contract you’re talking about a lot of money being spent.
10,I can’t get one yet! The US gets theirs in June, whilst Europe has to wait until Q4 2007, with Asia waiting even longer!

Did you fall out of a black hole. The Apple 3G has already been anounced att 199.99 for 8GB model with first launch most likely in the U.S. and Australia at the same time. however it will * off buyers of the original Apple iPhones.

Strange, after all the complaint, why are you waiting for the phone. Better buy an apple and forget about the phone.
Anyway, you got 80% of your fact wrong.

I think Jackli has made it clear that the old version of the iphone is currently whats available to him and its too expensive from his end. This is the case sometimes. Maybe, whats old to us is new to others in other parts of the world.
Most of up-to-date products can be found here.
