Recently some companies from , and came to me sourcing legal help against cheats in . By these cases, I come to the belief that the following tips are very helpful for preventing loss in .

Tip 1: Take a look at and keep a copy of the following documents of any Chinese company you intend to trade with: Business License, Taxation Registration Certificate, and Corporate Code Certificate. In my view, the right way to make a copy is by scanning.

Tip 2: Have a copy of the **** of the individual person you intend to trade with, if you will trade with a company, please have the **** copy of its legal representative.

Tip 3: If you trade with a company, never transfer any money to any account of an individual person whose name is the beneficiary.

Tip 4: A Chinese company shall have a round chop/seal made under supervision of Chinese government. If you see a chop not in round shape, it will be of no effect in law.

Tip 5: Do not trust mobile phone number. Because in the mobile phone number will not be registered to the user, but a fixed line phone number will.

E.g: 86-755-88299217 is a fixed line phone number; 86-13590486688 is a mobile phone number.

If you follow all the above tips, you may avoid many simple scams. If you have any question or problem in scammer fighting, I would like to offer help.

Yes i have business with

Hefei City Yanhuang Business Co., Ltd.

DO NOT MAKE BUSINESS WITH THEM.

I have ordered a ps3 and paid them USD300. After receiving the payment he send me a tracking number of my package. After 2 days i couldn't track my package and i asked him what is happening. He talled me that custom authorities took the package because it was too big. I asked for refund but he talled me that the only thing he can do is to send me something else. So i irdered an apple iphone 16gb.

At the end i received an A88 which is a clone of iphone. It's a fake iphone and it's value is 50-100 euro.

They will tell you that their website is www.alibaba666.com. or

http://www.bxb168.com/

They have another name for their company :

Tip 6, some suppliers use Hong Kong company license to sign PO with you, but many of them are empty company, if you send money into that Hong Kong company account, the supplier can take money and ignore you, when you go to sue, you must sue in Hong Kong, you will win but you get nothing, because everybody can pay 5000HK dollars without going to Hong Kong to stay for even one day and get a company license. So be careful with suppliers in the name of Hong Kong companies or Maucao companies.

Tip 7, you must make sure that you are signing PO with the company you are talking with, so you must make sure the English name and the Chinese name of the supplier are same company. and you must make sure the supplier is a legally registered company in China, if you buy from an individual trader, you have high chance of being scammed.

Tip 8, try your best to buy directly from manufacturers, because they are big and they make the products themselves, they are able to solve dispute on quality and quantity easily, and they will not run away for money you sent---it is not worth it.

Tip 9, ask for Chinese lawyer for more tips.....a little tired of typing...There are many many tips indeed. Buying from China is like you are swimming a water pool in which there are many leaches (blood sucking animal in water), you must swim very cool-mindedly and swim with intelligence, you get the thing you want in the pool then get back on the shore quickly....

Re: Real Useful Tips to Identify False Companies and Protect Your Interest in China

Hello.  I recently had a transaction go wrong.  Two weeks ago I ordered 10 Nintendo Wii from a company called sunnyshopping.biz.  I had been communicating with a person named Judy.  Judy solidified the price and gave me western union information.  I processed money transfer and waited for tracking numbers.  They never arrived.  When I sent communication to them via email, they said they had to "process " the refund and it may take a few days.  I was so glad when I got email that they'd sent my refund.  After the runaround and waiting an additional week and a half for a response, I just wanted it all to be over with.  I went to western union and found out that out of the $1894.00 I sent them, they only refunded $1300.  Since then, I've sent several emails and they just keep putting me off.  I've since read up on scams and how to do business with traders in China without subjecting myself to scammers.  I've also found their name under google where someone else has put this company out there as a scam.  They even dealt with the same "Judy" that I have.  At this point I consider myself fortunate to have gotten most of my money back, but for them to keep $594 for nothing is fraud!  I understand that I have little to no rights to fight them, but I surely want other people to know that this is not on the level.  Its been weeks now, and I keep being told that my refund is being processed, but no word on the actual posting of my funds.  Do you have any suggestions as to how I can get my money back?

Hi,

I would like to make another suggestion to your tips.

If the company or whoever wants to buy items from you and they demand you send the items first before they pay, walk away. It almost happened to me and there have been many incidents similar to this in other websites so you should always demand that money must be paid in full before you send anything.

Should they prefer to pay a certain downpayment, I think it is only fair to send the same amount of items to them.
