gafatenterprises- You area right Foreign Trade Zones (FTZ) are locations under Customs supervision where good can be manufactured before clearing Customs or re-exported. I think selection of FTZ unless your company is a multinational that is looking location economies for SME the selection of FTZ should be based on the country or region that you want to market your product and not the best that is available.
