I want to start importing motor scooters to QLD Australia.
All of the companies i have contacted on Alibaba will only allow me to choose 1 style of motor scooter per container.I would like to be able to buy a couple of different styles of motor scooters.
Am i looking in the right place?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, Leanne,
you do get the right place, if make a mess shipment with different styles, that mean qty for each styles would be small, so they are not so willing to make for you, try to buy from some medium and small company that may help you.
If still can not buy, then contact me through TM, I will try to tell you some other ways.

Leanne, a couple ot tips.
You need written approval from our Federal Government before Customs will allow even one sample s to enter the country because they are classed as an onroad vehicle (even if designed for only offroad use).
Separately, the brake pads in about 70% of all small vehicles entering the country from China are contaminated with asbestos which is a banned import. Upon arrival at port, Customs will direct the scooters to a bonded warehouse where you must arrange for licensed asbestos technicians (in space suits) to remove the pads for lab testing at your cost. It costs a small fortune.
If you do obtain Gov approval to import, get your Chinese supplier to remove the brake pads at the factory and consign these to you in a separate shipment. That's because Customs will not accept a declaration from China that the brake pads are asbestos free if the pads are fitted to the scooters.
The above applies if you intend the scooters for only offroad use. If you intend that they be registered for onroad use you must import samples for testing by special authorised vehicle mechanics in Australia which takes a long time at very high cost.
Overall, please be careful as even one cheap import sample could cost you a small fortune if Customs jump on it and the paperwork is not exactly right.
