You could be forgiven is you had cheated; BUT not for "wishing you had cheated"!!! That's not right at all!! It means that you think it's rightful...

I think she is just a victim of this modern "sex is everything" nonsense in the media. People have to come to grips with reality and realize that sex is just part of life, but not life per se.

Who are you asking for forgiveness?? God, Your buy friend, yourself or us (the reader).?

From the other osting you posted, you and him have splitted, so the is nothing to do with him. But you did mentioned how to get him back. I have posted some suggestion then, but may I add this: This attitude is not going to get him back.

It is good that consciously you have acknowledge that this is an act that is bad enough to seek forgiveness, but I think that act is on "Cheating" and not on "a one night stand". So for having a conscious, I believe God have forgiven, secondly, your boyfriend is no more yours, so you have not cheated, thirdly, your "regret" not having the one night stand, so you must have forgiven yourself, and finally, we reader have got no involvement so all in all, all is forgiven. (If this sound abstract, that is because it is abstract).
