Attention Buyers
Post 1 of 9

The are a multitude of ways to help buyers in conduct safe business. What we seldom realized is that this is a 2 ways transactions. Supplier also faces risks in very much the same way a buyer face.

Everyday they are face with scammer posing as buyers, competitor and false buyer asking for quotation, people copying their products, buyers not paying on time, shipping companies being late in delivery resulting in penalties from buyers and so on.

So if you are a genuine buyer it's important that you understand all aspects. Know that a genuine supplier is just afraid of you as you are of them. To them you are also an unknown entity. So if you want to find serious genuine supplier be courteous, be professional, and give a brief introduction of what you do, be reasonable with your target price. This will lead to faster response and increases your chance of finding a real supplier.

Leave your thoughts and comments

Cheers,

Remus

The traits that you listed in posting, allow me to say, is indeed good to observe. But I must say too that this same traits is been observe by professional con man, and there are even better at it then we average buyer or seller. It can't be used to identify a good or even geniune buyer/supplier.

The most important thing is to practice due diligent and as I have say before, if in doubt ask. This forum is but a computer monitor away from you.

And also, i must stress, fear (afraid) is not a good traits for any trader. Yes we are unfamiliar with each other but if there is fear involved there will be too much reservaton and too much reservation will definitell kill a business.

Due diligent my friend, due diligent and a willingness to learn. There is more to trading then anyone of us dare say we are mastered at.

Aside from all the knowledge of the trade (there are thousand of it), there is understanding oneself and understanding your counterpart.. You need a basic understanding of human behaviour, market movement, finance, your trade target/market, product knowledge etc, etc.

Trading can be that simple and also that difficult.

Key is learn and practise due diligent

Hello,

How do I make a complaint against a Gold Supplier for stealing my Money?

Fraud, Etc..

The company name is:

(name of the thief)

Helen Yuan

Everest Digital Technology Co., Ltd.

Gold Supplier in Alibaba

http://Everest.En.Alibaba.com

http://Everest.En.Alibaba.com

They stole $940.00 from me for samples, by sending me crap I did not order. She claims the shipping company sent the wrong order, yeah and I'm really stupid.

When I asked her to take back the phones, she insisted I sell them to get my money back. The are not worth $400.00 retail, a real stupid scam.

But she cheated me. After a lot of complaining and sending about 300 annoying emails to her, she wants me to send the crap back to her, which leaves me with zero. I would not trust sending her nothing.

If anyone can help, I would appreciate it. It is amazing how many scammers are on Alibaba. Real sad.

Can I post the complaint against them on your site or theirs.

Thank You,

Michael

Hi Michael.

Take no notice of what Egernia says above. Sounds to me like he's laughing at your misfortune.

You have, unfortunately fallen into the scammer's trap.

I am assuming you thought you were going to get brand name phones from them.

As we have said many many times in these forums.

"You CANNOT get brand name phones (or any other brand name product) from China." They are either FAKES, COPIES or SCAMS.

Unfortunately no-one will be able to get your money back for you, you will have to put this down to experience, and move on.

I suggest next time, you do Due Diligence on any Supplier before you send them any money.

Hi Michael,

I think you should consider yourself quite fortunate as it's only a small amount and you did receive something, as useless as it may be. The best thing and be only worthwhile thing to do it to warn others of this company. Cut your losses and move on. Word of warning to those who are looking to buy branded items. Big brands have their distribution channels very secured. It would be unlikely that you are buying the genuine item to begin with. Check with the Brand owner to see if they have distribution in the region you are buying from and also ask if the supplier is their authorized reseller or dealer.

In any case, i would highly recommend people don't buy branded items from a country that is known worldwide for producing fakes. Those who still persist in purchasing branded item from China are just scams waiting to happened.

No I am certainly not laughing at the buyer - I do however find it incredible that someone who is clearly using this forum and therefore has access to all of the warnings etc could still think that scammers selling this type of brand name product are stupid.

It seems to me that these buyers are aware of the warnings but are still looking for a way around the obvious and trying to find what clearly is not available. We cannot overlook the fact that each of these buyers that tries to buy brand name product direct from China is trying to cheat the brand name companies out of their money yet they get all upset when the cheat that they are buying from cheats them!

I am of course not defending the scammers, but the only way to stop the scammers is to stop the demand. The demand coming from buyers such as this one who if he thinks this particular scammer is stupid may think that he is smarter and will not get scammed next time. Yet we all know that he will if he tries to buy brand name products from another 'supplier' in China.

The simple fact is that there would be no scammers with these products if sellers were more careful about who they send cash to. As long as buyers such as this guy continue to think that they are being smart about their purchasing and that the scammers are the dumb ones then my fear is that more people wil lose more money.

The scammers who are collecting these monies from around the world are almost certainly laughing at the buyers who send them cash for nothing. Perhaps these buyers do need a wake up call to help them realize that they are in fact the fodder that feeds the problem!
