Are you kidding or what? if China can handle higher price than India for the same yarns types and quality that means that they're just having more requests or that they're just dumping. You very well know that China's buying a lot of cotton from India at much higher price than locals so that means that they can get a better quality or a higher market request. In any case both countries are still very far away from top quality faultless yarns, therefore their yarn price is just one rush to savings with no future. The escalation costs of raw material, energy and transport are just one small example of the cotton spinners' pain, just one step away from living in the street. Passing costs through to customers it's almost impossible unless you can handle your cotton manufacturing from a totally different frame of mind. Best, Tony CR

The reason is simple, both countries follow different economic system, India is a capitalist country, China is socialist country, where labor is value able person than labor in capitalist system.
India agriculture sectors and mills follow old technology, China use modern technology
Indian farmer have to work in cheap rates, China's farmer works under government super vision.
India is avoiding to export textile because their local market is very big, China will stop exporting textile after 5 years, this is chinese last generation in textile.
