Althought I've worked in the export/import biz for the last 25 years, only now I've started my own biz..
Regardings the jargons, well you have mainly 2 main type
Incoterms - things like FOB, CNF FAS, etc - for this you go your chamber of commerce and buy a book called "The Incoterms" it has all the Internationally approved terms, and what their meaning is
For the Payment terms: T/T, Swift, etc - I thing the best is that you call your bank and ask them if they have some publication where you can find the meaning of all that stuff. Please don't forget to buy The Letter of Credits UCP 500 I believe is the lates (you can find it at your local chamber of commerce).
If you have any doubet more specific please feel free to get in touch.
