In confirmation of Germex's good advice. The mainland Mac brand name laptops (and other brand name electronic products of any sort listed on Alibaba) are mostly 100% fake and bad fakes too.
The mac laptops offered by this Putian based Gold member scammer http://shidaitrade.en.alibaba.com/ are typical of the tens of thousands of fake products offered by Alibaba sellers.
Only a handful of Mainland and Hong Kong sellers provide authentic brand consumer electronics but at close to normal retail price because the profit margin is so thin.
Mainland Chinese Distributors of genuine brand name electronics pay the same wholesale price as their Western and Hong Kong counterparts so there is no advantage to you in searching for genuine brands in mainland China.
As usual, I strongly condemn Alibaba for knowingly publishing several hundred thousand sales leads for fake products to the world out of selfish greed for high Gold Member fees from Chinese mainland scammers in circumstance where it is so easy for its computer software to filter out these fake products.
The balance of unbranded consumer electronics on Alibaba are also mostly not lab certified for legal sale in developed countries in respect of SAR values, engineering integrity and electrical safety, so just what is the purpose of these mountains of useless Alibaba sales leads stretching from here to the moon and back - other than greed for Gold member fees?

Has anyone ordered a laptop from one of these suppliers? Macbook air, HP, Sony Vaio? I understand people are saying they are fake..but even the original ones are made in China..
- If anyone actually did attempt to order and received a totally fake macbook , HP , Vaio..please let us know.
