I recently interviewed with a company for a spot with a team of five women that's led by a woman.

I am a man and my concern is that I would not fit in. Furthermore, I have heard recent statistics that a high percentage of the population would rather work for a man.

I work for a company now where it's good 'ole boys...I can golf, go out for drinks, swear, etc. in a corporate setting. Am I setting myself up for failure by taking a job in an arena dominated by women? The reason for change is 100% salary based.

  • It 's not a big deal...... I don't think it is not acceptable for man to work under a woman's supervision...... Look at UK people, they have been under a woman's rule for many years, they are happy, aren't they?

    Dear,

Today we are in the global world where there is no gender isssue. If you are a great performer than you do not think about who is working with you. Females are good workers and colleagues. Just try to work in a team by which you and they can adjust in a proper way.

    Best Regards

  • As a man you needn't pay much attention to this. In the developing morden society, women are playing more and more important roles. Man and woman are balanced bored so woman can work for man and man also can work for woman. I an a girl and I am keen to be a leader in business and I am trying to be.

Very immature way to look at the job

the question should be are you man enough for the job ?

or is golf and being able to swear more important than doing your job for your boss no mater the boss' gender?

I am a woman running a business and buying from shops both male and female run
I would not hire you after reading that , I would question your ability to apply yourself to your job. your social life is not your bosses problem . only a child feels they need to swear on the job . just makes you sound like a spoiled teenager.

I think they should give the job to a woman that will want to work hard to help the company stay on top .

You will not work for a woman. You will work for money.
