Always use caution!! If they dont send a sample (less shipping) along with a business card and catalog , I would use extreme caution... I am encountering that right now with a supplier. They have great prices , however, the website DOES NOT come up, wants Western Union payment, cannot send a sample So when I questioned these minor problems he would no longer respond. There you have it a SCAMMER.
Buyer beware!!

I've decided to make my first order of some photographic studio lighting equipment from a seller 'Changzhou Simock Electronic, Co, Ltd.' From past threads I've tried to research the company a little on google which has brought up their home page and also a list of other sites which they also sell on. I'm having trouble finding any positive review/feedback from others who have purchased off them which has made me somewhat hesitant.
At this point in time we have agreed on a MOQ but I've also requested a sample item before I order the MOQ just to ensure the quality of the item but also that they are legit. They agreed to send a sample item at my expense which was reassuring. Should I be less concerned that they are offering a sample item? They request T/T as a payment means which is reassuring as I notice scammers rely on western union.
I realise it must be frustrating to see a constant flow of newbie threads popping up however this being my first purchase I'm very keen to make sure it goes right as I'd prefer not to lose a few hundred dollars buying a sample item which might not exist.
I greatly appreciate any assistance or tips and thank you for your time.

hello, my dear friend , hope everything goes on well ,
i just want to say , you may not believe the one who is talking what , but you can believe the one whose action , there are always risk in bussiness, so just try a small sample at first and then you can find who you would like to trust on .
i believe that bussiness is to get the banlance of benift , both the buyer and the seller , if cheat ,then bussinesship cann't be longterm.
did you receive any reply on that? I am also interested to order sample but the same is my concern.

Please be very very careful.. Do not trust the Chinese trade sellers. I have tried 3 different trade companies and all 3 have cheated me.. Two sent the wrong product and will not correct the error they made and the 3rd never sent anything. They went from having lots of product to not having any product. When I told them to send my money back I was told to order something different. When I told them I didn't want anything else they said again to change my order That they were not sending my money back... Three companies from China. They all burned me... Do not use the Hefei Fushang Trade Co., or the Hefei Huatang Trade Co. or the Kingpower Trade Co.... I will never purchase from China again unless they do it like America does... Payment after the product has been delivered. I will never pre-pay again. Be very very careful. By the way, All of these are rated Gold with Alibaba. And if you think the Gold rating means something, it doesn't... It just says that the company was able to purchase Gold status... Nothing else.

Hello Alex,If you are going to establish a business relation with Chinese companies, please have some references from the company is advisable. This will make you and the referenced company to understand better the supplier.
Its a win win for both the supplier as well as new customer.
Due to internet fraud, its very difficult to judge a new company based on the website.
Thats why most of the US companies have local offices in China whos function is to verify the supplier capability.
If you need further info, please do not hesitate to contact us,
Regards,
Akm Chowdhury

Hi Alex, this is Maria from Fujian China, I have been in foreign trade for more than six year, with my experience, chinese people are willing to do business on the terms of payment by TT, TT 30% down payment and the balance paid at the sight of copy of B/L ,or LC at sight.I have suggestion, first , choose payment by LC; second, find the third party reliable people to help to contact with seller

i wanna know whats LC payment, because i sent 1800usd to a site that promised me the goods for a better price. And ended up getting the wrong stuff, plus, they all went out with battery problems. some didnt take service on them.
I really doubt it would make a difference on the type of payment if it is a bad supplier. I used Wire Transfer from my bank for my first supplier that scammed me. KINGPOWER TRADE ( TINA ) told me that they had the phones in stock in the colors and qty that I needed. I verified it prior to sending the funds. But suddenly Tina says they do not have any of the units in color.. Only black. I asked for my money back.. They said it would take 2 or 3 weeks. I could not wait so I agreed to black units. But when they arrived they were not the model I had ordered. They were a lesser model. I tried to give the Chinese community the benefit of the doubt so I tried another seller.. This time it was ( LINDA SU ) at HEFEI FUSHANG TRADE CO., LTD. I bought 16 phones (over $1,700). I just got 12 of them 2 days ago. They do not know where the other 4 is and I pointed out to them that the EMS # did not work immediately. They never helped me find them. The phones I did get were the wrong phones again. These are a good $200 less per phone on the open market. Talk about rip off. I can't get my money back out of them even if I tried to sell them. The company fired Linda Su and told me that ANDREW HUANG the manager would be helping me. He took my first message on trademanager but now he will not answer me. I have tried off and on for the last 20 hours. It says he is either idle or having conversation. I do not see this being fixed. There is more.
