- Invoice must clearly describe the product to be imported.
- Type Invoice and other documents including allowing space between lines for adding more information.
- Product in the invoice to match with the packing list that will accompany the goods.
- Invoice should shows all discounts and the net price.
- Avoid commingling products, use separate boxes whenever possible.
- Mark goods and boxes legibly with the Country of Origin.
- Comply with other government requirements, example, food and alcoholic beverages.
- Itemize cost of transpiration and insurance (Some countries do not assess duty)
- Provide Harmonized System codes at 6 digit level (additional digits if your country requires more than 6 digit codes)
- For product under quota – exporter to comply with the importing government and his government quota requirements.
