I was wondering if any one has had prpoblems with buying from Pakistan.

i seem to be getting the ran around from a exporting racing product company

I am talking to someone from Pakistan about being a buyer.  I hope it is not the same person you are having problems with.  Please contact me if you can. I wish there was a way to check out companies overseas.  I was under the impression that Alibaba does that. I will be very disappointed to find out they do not.

Its absolute a misinformation that Pakistan is a country dangerous to do business with.

Pakistan business community is much more committed than many Asian countries there is no comparison between business scale of Nigeria and Pakistan. Pakistan exports USD 20 billion worth of products every year mainly textiles to USA and Western Europe with zero complain on quality/quantity etc. some delay sometime happens as there is power break down and inflation recently but that does not put Pakistan in category of countries or at par with Nigeria.

MF tractor from Pakistan is only for local sale every Macy Engine has a number that has to be reported upon sale to Macy furgusson and thus we could not sell to Sri Lanka, very fair business practicies prevail in Pakistan dear sirs and madams !!!!

Pakistan imports 35 billion usdollars worth of commodity, machinery, plants and power generation plant annually not a single default ever recorded, how come some one will rate Pakistan as a risky country for business.

In Pakistan following large multination operate comfortably

John Players, Novartis, Clariant, Toyota, Honda Motors, Suzuki Motors, Unilever, Hino Heavy Vehicles, all major airlines with local offices they are doing brisk constant and smooth business with billion of rupees in profit every year. ICI operates here plants for polyester and PTA Pakistan manufactures Jet Fighter planes in colaborationwith China. just to name a few. its a mis impression to say Pakistan a risky country. verify about above multinational. Cell phone company from Egypt, Norway, Middle East are here with over 40 million subscriber, Nokia sells several million sets in pakistan so does Samsung from Korea, LG from Korea and Sony Ericson.

come on have confidence in business here !!! thanks,

^^ to above poster.

Very well explained by you i appreciate. It should be noted Pakistan is one of the fastest growing economies in the south east asia region it's ridiculous to compare such a country with Nigeria [em19]

to paintedreams, i did an internet check with the local chamber of commerce and did a check on alibaba forum  "safe trading formum".  The links on theire website seem legitmate and the had attended tradeshow so i hope they were real.

Not all traders on alibaba a real. I choose to deal with Pakistan as china seems to be a big risk according to forums on Alibaba.

I am dealing with a motorsport company.
