Hello, everyone

Good day. I want you to give me some advice about the payment term. We are a middle-scale  handbag manufactory, about 600workers. But I come here for only serval weeks. What make me confused is that my new company only accept TT(30% deposit, balance before delivery) when do business with customer.

Is it a big obstacle when potential buyer to do business with me?

There has to be a safe way to do trade with Chine that is safe for small purchase as well as larg purchases. Asit stands now, China dealers have onlt Western Unionfor payment, this protects them but leaves the rest of the trading world with no protection from fraud, and there is a lot from China. What is the answer?

Most of sellers like to use T/T, because that is good for them, they do not need to stand any risks. Like my factory, we usually also just accept T/T. If using L/C, it is not easy, and it costs too much, the procedure is not easy, if you make some mistakes when you make L/C, you maybe can not get the money from the bank, so if the company does not have skilled and experienced trade worker, the company usually does not want to accept L/C terms. But, if you can accpet L/C, i am sure you can get much more business chances. Because most of buyers, especially big customers, they usually like to use L/C.
