Definitely a scam.

You cannot buy foreign brand name product from legitimate suppliers in China.

The only place you can buy legitimate Dell products is from Dell - that is why they have a brand name so that you can find them!!!

There is a Dell office in Xiamen that does ship 100% authentic Dell product because they are a Dell office not a factory. But the prices you will pay will be retail prices which means that you will not make any money.

What you need to do is contact Dell in your country and see if you can track down some legitimate distributors there.

Trust Pass does not cost $8000.00 USD the price is $539.00USD.  Only Chinese mainland and Hong Kong companies can become Gold Suppliers which are charged about $8000.00USD

Probably will be conned again. I have also been there before in my dealings with China. However, most an be good if you watch it closely. You see it is a culture problem. Like crime in Italy or should I say Sicily.

Alibaba is responsible for not making is subscribers aware of the risk of Upfront payment and not making aware that Bank L/C at sight is the standard mode of payment for international business.

Alibaba has come up with some ratings "Gold" "Trust Pass", which again mislead buyers, giving impression that these are sellers who could be trusted.

Bottom line is Alibaba has to take proactive action and keep its subscriber informed.

You mean you have sought out an International B2B platform and you dont know anything about International trade?  Your the responsible one not Alibaba.  If you dont know how you should ask questions.  These forums have been here for 4 years helping people learn about International Trade via the experience of others.  A question is only dumb, if it has never been asked.
