because of the long staple length of the fibres, like also the peru cotton, whgen combed it is even better.

1. the reason lies on the climate. just as we konw, the cotton can grow well in the tropics with abundant rainfall. Egypt is located in the north of Africa, whose climate is hot and dry. thanks to the Nile, it can supply good irrigation to the cotton. those condition give the cotton a good chance to grow well.

2. the second reason lies on the policy and precaution made by Egypt government. Egypt government work out a serise of strict regulation to administrate cotton plant and establish research center to increase the quality of cotton seed.

3. the final reason lies in the strict inspection before selling. the inspection will be carried out by inspect center or other authorized organization with relevant certificate issued simultaneously

4. with the full support by the government , favouable climate and irrigation, it is difficult to find the reason that why  Egypt cotton is not the best in the world.
