NO, I THINK IS NOT HONEST TO CHARGE FOR THEM, BECAUSE EVERY BUSINESS COMPNAY NEED TO HAVE THE PROMOTION DEPARTMENT FOR BETTER SELL, WE THE BUYERS NO NEED TO MAKE PROMOTION TO A COMPANY THAT NOT COOPERATE FOR SOME BUSINESS.

It is okay for the firm to charge the samples for the products. Finding new market is always the priority for companies. However, these activities although have been costed in the marketing budgets, it does not always the cost of materials whether trading or manufacturing. Suppose there are 100 of the samples go out a day, imagine how much the company has to bear.

The usual practice is nomally samples cost will be absorbed or credited into the eventual purchase of the products if the samples fit into the customer's requirement. This way it will be a win-win situation for both parties.

Hi there,

Is really depends how much your sample costs. If it costs a little im sure you can afford it to give away.

If your sample is expensive then my advise to you is collect the sample fee.

Have you heard of Free Sample Collector? They collect the things and resell the things again.

So dont be a loser. Is reasonable enough for you to collect the sample fee.

If he have the desire to do business with you im sure he dont mind to pay the sample fee.

if a manufacturer cannot afford the cost of the sample that he has to send to a potential customer ,its better to avoid exporting..Only if the samples costs a lot should ask payment for this.

I have paid always the samples.

I think that the factory has to do it. If not, everybody would ask for samples. I even dont think about get the samples for free. I always ask for the price. I think this is an inverstiment so i have to risk some money. If after all you have good price and good quality then you have won money.
