Allow 72 hours for a response. Sometimes the buyer might be busy with other things, sometimes it is wekend , the time zone differences can make a 24 hour delay normal, so add 2 more days.

After that I would resend the same email with a line that says something like "Making sure you received my erlier email"

Hope that helps a bit.

Wow, you should be glad that the customers reply you within a day or two. As I'm dealing with customers from Middle East and Africa, I would be glad that if they had the courtesy to reply me! Those who know how to use internet would reply in few days, but for those who doesn't, it might took weeks or even months![em8]

You have to explain to him why you need the specification, either for quotation purpose or had a better understanding on his needs!

sometimes the customers are not serious about buying they are wasting your time.  Maybe only one customer in 10 is serious about buying from you.  Please be patient, the good customers are worth waiting for.  Only give your customer the pricing for one item for each e-mail and that way you will find out if they are real customers or not.
