Please do not assume that everything will be better. At this time of crisis, when tragedy strikes, it is best to be rational, because the emotional trauma will paralyse our reasonable thinking.
Good to pray, but beyond that, we give generously of our resources, send people to help and save as many as possible in the rush against time. My boss will be fasting for 3 weeks (Absolute fast, without food but on fluids only) and praying.
The worst is not over yet, the dams are in danger of breaking, and there are many mini dams formed by fallen rocks that blocks the rivers. Mother nature is not kind to the sufferings of the people, the weather shows sign of more rainfall during this season. Just imagine what will happen if a dam breaks? Did you watch X-MEN II?
So, those living downstream on the river with the dams have to be prepared to move to higher grounds, at least 10 to 20 meters higher.
