[em4] No the most safest pay term in international trade!

Only you have to employ and cost a few money for a inspection company in seller country! They should take care your payment and products quality!

If only the payment term that protect the buyer,In my opinion,it is D/P.But how can the seller accept it?Most of sellers don't accept the D/P.At least, they don't like the payment way.

The most important is trust, if the buyer and the seller also have the good trust.,The payment is not main.Of course,We should use many ways to make sure the each other have a good trust.

It all depends where the buyer is located from the seller. Payment upon delivery is the safest of all. For overseas would be T/T to the sellers company and not to person. I have been told that Escrow.com is also safe, but I myself do not have any experience yet with this.

I think it depends.

If it is your first large order with an experienced supplier you want to develop a long-term relationship, I suggest L/C. I will protect you, and more importantly protech the seller, who serves you. Only by doing this, you can earn your trustscore from your sellers, and he is going to sell his products to you much more willingly in the future business.

If it is a small order with your supplier, I suggest TT. It will protect from losing too much, even if there are products problems.
