The Korean
Post 1 of 4
Koreans had their history of subjection and humiliation first to the Japanese and then to the North Korean in the civil war of 1950 - 1953.

The 20th century was a period of the dark age under the Japanese colonial master who plundered the Peninsula of its National treasures, forced labour on the young Koreans, attempt to destroy the Korean language by enforcing a ban of the language, force the people to change names and pour the imperial education down their throats, made genie pigs of the Koreans for the Japanese Army Biological and Chemical experiments on living Koreans, burying the living Korean and forced sex slaves of the young Korean women for the Japanese Army.

It was during the time of feudal wars between the two more powerful forces, the Soviet Union and Japan. In between were the weaker countries then, China and Korea. 1876 the Treaty of Ganghwa during the Joseon Dynasty, and the assination of the Empress Myeongseong, aka Queen Min by Japanese agents in 1895 saw an end to the Empire of Korea and a rise to the colonial age. 1905 Eulsa treaty and in 19910, the Annexation Treaty signed between the Minister of the Army of Japan, Terauchi Masatake and the then Prime Minister of Korea, Mr, Lee Wan-Yong in 1910.

It was a long period of the darkest decades in Korean history, Korea was left with little choice, as the Japan fought the Russian in the Russo-Japanese War of 1904-1905. Russia acknowledge Japan's paramount political, military and economic interest in Korea in a peace treaty signed in September 1905. Looking at the bright side, one could say that Korea was fortunate to be ruled by the Japanese, and not the Russian, because their people will be dispersed all over the Siberian continent, and there may be no more culture left.

Japan was their colonial master, a hard one, far worst than the British, Dutch, French or any other European masters of the other regions of the world. The end of World War II following the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the Japanese surrender to the Allied Army on 15 August 1945 saw the end of the 35 years of Japanese occupation.

Korea was exploited, depleted of its national treasures and the nation was impoverished. Korea was used by Japan as a colonial merchandising, with a colonial economic system designed to meet the needs of the Japanese military industry.

As the imperial army of Japan began to feel the strains of the war, Japan siphoned off more and more of Korea's resources, including its people to feed its war machines. The Koreans were considered as a lower state people, and despised by the Japanese for their subjection. The word "GAIJIN" is used, instead of "HANJIN".

Not too long after the Japanese hand over power to the Allied forces in Korea, the Korean war began by the invasion of the North in a surprise attack at Seoul and Inchon.

Good lighting on a section of Korean mordern history but let me add a few words;

"Looking at the bright side ~"? There's nothing good to be called bright side as Korean had never meant to be ruled by any of them. Isn't it funny to suppose Korean would have been more trampled by Russinas? Do you happen to suppose Koreans then must have been sold to be slaves throughout the Siberia, or want to say Japanese are more merciful?

Intended or not, Korea market has been designed that way by herself... even until now.

If you want to draw a hypothetical time-line, look at North Korea, today and compare with South Korea, with the world No. 12 economy.

Looking at the brifht side, the war was ended with the two atomic bombs, not two ro more...

The battle of IWO-JIMA and pushing nearer to OKINAWA, the Allied Navy, Airforce and Infantry had already won, but at very high casualty of 80%. They thought the invasion of Japan will decimate the entire Allied army and the Japanese civilians, who were in the war at Okinawa. The suicide squad, aka the KAMIKAZE sent signals to the Allied forces that the Japs were willing to do anything to stop the invasion. There is strong national pride, and loyalty to the extend of self-sacrifice.

Intended or not, Korea market has been designed that way by herself... even until now.

That's the way it goes, but the Americans do not exploit the conquered nations?

Sorry but, as for me, I do not even feel compassion for those psychedellics...  could it be a noble sacrifice at all?

Is it sure Americans do not exploit the conquered nations? What a jumping of logic it is that you CONQUER the other nations for only peace and prosperity.
