Recipe for Success
Take twelve fine months, thoroughly free them from all blemishes like bitterness, rancor, hate and jealousy.
Cleanse completely of clinging spite and specks of pettiness.
Have them as fresh and clean as when they first came from the storehouse of Time
NowCut each of these months into 30 or 31 equal parts.
This batch will keep for just one year.
Dont attempt to make up the whole batch at one time ( many people spoil the entire lot in this way ), but prepare a day at a time like this :
Into each day put---------
--12 parts of faith
--11 parts of patience
--10 parts of courage
--09 parts of hard work
(some people omit this ingredient and spoil
the entire flavor)
--08 parts of hope
--07 parts of fidelity
--06 parts of liberality
--05 parts of kindness
--04 parts of rest (leaving this out is like leaving the oil out of the salad, dont do it.)
--03 parts of prayers
--02 parts of meditation
--01 part, you may select a resolution.
Put in about a tablespoon of good spirits, a heaped teaspoon of fun, along with a pinch of folly, a sprinkling of play, and season it with plenty of good humor.
Mix with all your vim and cook thoroughly in a fervent heat.
Garnish with cheerful smiles and a sprig of joy.
Serve with quietness, unselfishness, and cheerfulness
